An Update on Don Wilbraham 8th March

Liz Wilbraham has given us the following update:

Hi Jenny and all Whippets. Don has had six days of chemotherapy and no nasty side effects at all. Just one more week of radiotherapy to go as well. He is still feeling good and looks very well apart from a lack of hair. He has gone quite deaf though, don't know if that is permanent or not, but not a major problem. He keeps in touch with your activities via your website so he knows what you are all up to. He was only saying the other day that once the light nights are here you will be off round Brown Moss for your runs. Happy running to you all, Liz and Don.

Belvoir Challenge

Kate Waterhouse reports:

'Hope you had a good breakfast meet. I did intend to make it, but was too knackered after taking on the Belvoir Challenge on the Saturday. 15 miles of mud, hence the reason it took me 3:02:31 to get round; plus they had check points every 5 miles serving tea and coffee, flapjacks, pizza and mars bars - it would have been rude not to stop for a chat. My sister in-law finished it in 2:33 so I have a bit of catching up to do!

Results at: Belvoir Challenge

Hopefully see you in the week.'
