Summer Handicap Series
How it works
A series of four races over a 3 mile route. All competitors are given a handicap based on past race results or any other basis the handicapper can come up with!
The slowest runners set off first. If the handicapper has got it right then everyone should end up at the finish at the same time – due to the incompetence of the handicapper or the brilliance of the runners this just doesn’t happen! The 2010 season sees the two Simon's working together on the handicapping and race series. You have been warned!
Time and place
The races will start in Jubilee park – behind Curshaws - at approximately 7:30 p.m.
Runners must be in the park by 7:10 to register.

Scoring
20 points for 1st place, 19 pts for second, 18 pts for third and so on down to 1 pt.
All runners will get at least 1 pt for completing the course. A trophy will be awarded to the competitor with most points at the end of the series.
